At Acorn Building Services we are able to prepare general building reports and surveys along with specialist reports on various aspects of works acting as both a main contractor or sub-contractor where necessary. All our reports detail the cause, the recommendations and a quotation to carry out all associated work.

TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

All Surveyors and Operatives at our company are fully trained to the highest standard which encompasses In-Company Training and Health and Safety. Our company is a Member of the British Wood Preserving and Damp Proofing Association, and can offer the Guaranteed Protection Insurance Ltd Guarantees.

Our Company is fully aware of the Health and Safety obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1994 and is aware of the duties under the Construction Design and Management Regulations 1994.

All materials used by the Company, chemicals are all approved to British Standard BS5750 and all chemicals are approved under the control of pesticide regulations along with a suitable British Board of Agreement Certificate where necessary.

We are also aware of our company’s obligations under The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations COSHH and the Food and Environmental Protection Act.

All building materials used by the company are utilised in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations.
